Ooty

Founded by British colonists attempting to escape the heat of the Indian summer, Ooty soon became a popular British summer retreat and a favored resort of the Indian Maharajas. This 'Queen of hill stations' lies in the Nilgiri hills amidst tea gardens, pine and eucalyptus trees, and is a favourite location for Bollywood film shootings.

Day 1: Bangalore - Ooty

Upon arrival at Bangalore transfer to Ooty (From Bangalore290 kms /6 hrs) a virtual paradise on earth. Enroute u will pass through Bandipur National park. You will reach Ooty town. Check-in to the hotel.

Day 2: Ooty

Today you will be taken for sightseeing in Ooty. Enjoy your tour of the tea gardens, the Botanical Gardens and later a slow boat ride around the Ooty Lake.

Day 3: Ooty

Spend a relaxed day in Ooty. On a clear day you can view all the mountains from the Dodabetta Peak, which is the highest point in the Nilgiris. Ooty has infinite walks and treks to choose from.
Evening you can do some shopping of famous Ooty Home-made Chocolates

Day 4: Ooty – Bangalore

After breakfast depart from Ooty and Drive back to Bangalore.
