Kerala - Munnar-Cochin 4N-5D

Day 1: Cochin- Munnar

Arrival at Cochin airport/ railway station. Then to Munnar (120kms- 3 hrs). This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and the round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. The day at leisure

Day 2: Munnar

Morning after breakfast to Rajamala (15 km from Munnar). This is the natural habitat of the Neelgiri Thars. Half of the world's population of these rare mountain goats is found here. Then to Marayoor. This route will give you a complete view of the natural beauty of Munnar. Lunch at Marayoor. Marayoor is the only place in Kerala where there is a natural growth of sandalwood trees. Another attraction is the Muniyaras or caves, which dates back to the new Stone Age and the children's park formed under the canopy of single Banyan tree spread across a hectare of land. In the evening they can spend some time near the Thoovanam Waterfalls. By night fall back at the resort in Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar

Morning at leisure. After lunch and a short nap a small site seeing trip to Top Station - the highest point in Munnar - Kodaikkanal road. Top Station offers panoramic view over the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu. On the way back a short stop at Echo point. Its got its name by the natural echo phenomenon. Come back to resort and then checkout and proceed to Cochin.Arrive at cochin check and rest for the day

Day 4: Munnar - Cochin

After breakfast, transfer to Cochin. Stay in cochin. After lunch, a city site seeing trip covering Dutch palace (Built by Portuguese in 1555 AD), Jewish Synagogue (The oldest of its kind in the Common wealth countries) and Chinese fishing nets. By evening you can go to Bolgatty island by boat to spend the evening there. The Bolgatty palace built by the Dutch in 1744 AD is an attraction here. It is a perfect spot in Cochin for families to spend the evening. By night fall back at the hotel.

Day 5: Cochin

After breakfast, for a bit of city site seeing or shopping. By evening drop at Bus station/ railway station/ airport for onward journey
